Whether as a standout little league baseball player, the official voice of UMass Women’s Basketball on 91.1 WMUA, or a member of the UMass Sports Network production team, Josh Schreiber thrives in collaborative environments that produce high-quality outcomes. As a broadcaster, Josh has a unique ability to transport his audience directly into the arena or onto the field, ensuring that every listener—whether a seasoned athlete or a first-time viewer—can fully enjoy the game.

Growing up in Wayland, MA, a town just 25 minutes outside of Boston, Josh developed his passion for sports alongside his mom, dad, brother, and sister. This love led him to the University of Massachusetts - Amherst, where he made the bold decision to turn down an offer from the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse to gain immediate broadcasting experience.

Recently, Josh has served as the play-by-play broadcaster for 40 games with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks in the Cape Cod Baseball League. In addition to his game coverage, he hosts postgame shows and produces weekly podcasts for the "Midnight Ride Collective," the NIL collective for UMass football. He also Pioneered a bi-weekly coach's show with the UMass Women’s Basketball head coach, further showcasing his versatility and commitment to engaging sports content.

In addition to his broadcasting roles, Josh was an integral member of the UMass Baseball analytics team, where he played a key part in achieving the program's biggest upset win in history against a Top 10 team in UVA. Furthermore, during his time with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks, he contributed to the team's first division title in over a decade as part of the baseball operations team.

As a Broadcast Producer for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks, Josh honed his skills in creating graphics packages, running replays, and conducting interviews with players and coaches. He continues to work as a director and producer with UMass Sports Network for ESPN+ and NESN, contributing to a variety of sports broadcasts.

When he’s not actively broadcasting, Josh enjoys spending time with friends, playing sports, and, most importantly, indulging in ice cream wherever he goes.
